Questions for form:
 
A "technically skilled owner" can install the kits.  If you are used to working on engines, have a reasonable compliment of mechanics tools and can follow a wiring diagram you should be able to sucessfully convert your vehicle.  For single tank conversions you'll need access to an injector opening pressure tester or you can get your local injection specialists to deal with the injector upgrade (For Tdi conversions injectors have to be sent to Elsbett for modification - cost of carriage both ways is included in the kit price).

 As a rule, almost all diesel engines can be converted unless they have an injection pump made by CAV, Lucas, Stanadyne, RotoDiesel or Delphi, which are mechanically unsuited. We advise owners of these types of engines to take great care in considering the viability of safely running these engines on PPO. While some may work fine there is a great weight of evidence to show that in the long term these engines are often unsuitable even with a twin tank conversion. Elsbett have over 25 years experience of converting diesel engines to run on PPO and we think it’s wise to trust their evolved wisdom in these matters.
