Simple Chronology of Elsbett
• since mid 1980's: Conversion of large engined vehicles (trucks and others),
• since 1989: Conversion of cars to run on vegetable oil,
• since 1996: commercial operations converting standard pre-chamber car engines with ELSBETT vegetable oil,
• since 1999: Direct injection car engines also converted with the ELSBETT 1-tank,
• since 2000: standard unit-injector car engines also converted with the ELSBETT 2-tank system,
• since 2000: Conversion of standard direct-injection truck and agricultural engines with a standardised 2-tank ELSBETT system,
• since 2002: standard common-rail car engines also converted with the ELSBETT 2-tank system.
• since 2002: Conversion of standard unit-injector truck engines with the 2-tank system,
• since 2004: Conversion of standard common-rail truck engines with the 2-tank system,
• Conversion technology for all common types of truck and tractor proven thousands of times,
• Total fleet mileage so far: over 50 million km in all weather conditions.
