Engine Code Locations
We will sometimes need you to supply your engine code in order to help us identify exactly which engine you have in your vehicle.
There can sometimes be more than one engine type used in a vehicle model, even if the vehicles were manufactured in the same year.
Identifying your engine code enables us to select the correct conversion kit for your vehicle.
The engine code is not the engine number (as listed on the Vehicle Registration Certificate)
The vehicle owners / operators / workshop manual may contain the information required or be able to point you in the right direction.
Volkswagen / Audi / Skoda / Seat vehicles often have a three letter engine code that is part of the engine number - listed on the Registration Certificate.
Other modern vehicles often have a sticker on the cam belt cover and under the boot carpet that identify the engine code.
Alternatively, your local main dealer may be able help you to identify your engine code.
